Midnight Trends

Let’s be real hindi natin napapansin yung maliliit na fees.

₱15 transfer fee? “Okay lang.”
₱3 sa load? “Maliit lang.”
May convenience fee sa bills? “Sige na nga.”

Pero kung regular mo silang ginagawa, magkano na kaya lahat in a month?

That’s why I tried comparing GCash and MariBank.

Sa transfer, may fee sa GCash, while MariBank offers ₱0 transfer fee.
Sa bills, may convenience fee sa ilang GCash billers, while MariBank offers ₱0 convenience fee + up to ₱50 cashback.
Sa load, may ₱3 convenience fee sa GCash, while MariBank gives up to 3% off.

And if may money ka na naka-save, MariBank offers up to 3.75% p.a. interest. Plus, may cashback on eligible purchases, and even the physical card has a difference: ₱49 vs ₱250.

At first, parang maliit lang lahat ng difference.

Pero kapag paulit-ulit mong ginagamit, doon mo makikita kung saan mas napupunta yung pera mo.

So if you're already using digital banking anyway, might as well use the one that gives you more ways to save.
