Pop star Katy Perry launches her third fragrance and the first one done in cooperation with Coty. The scent is called Killer Queen by the song written by Freddie Mercury, and apparently it is totally different from its two predecessors.“Killer Queen has been in my vocabulary since I was 15, because of the song ‘Killer Queen’ by Queen,” said Perry to wwd. “Freddie Mercury painted the lyrics of this woman who I wanted to be. She seemed very powerful, and she captivated a room when she walked in. I named my company Killer Queen after those lyrics. I feel like, after all this time, it was appropriate to use that name in association with something I did. I feel like I’m falling, finally, into that woman Freddie painted.”Announced as a playful, sophisticated, powerful, edgy and delicious fragrance, it reflects the rebellious spirit of the singer. Its creation is signed by Laurent Le Guernec of IFF. Top notes include wild berries, dark plum and bergamot accords. The main note of the heart is velvety red flower (Celosia), but there are also Sambac jasmine and rainbow plumeria. The base contains cashmere, patchouli and liquid praline.The bottle is shaped like a red ruby and comes in its own golden pedestal. Killer Queen was launched in 2013.

Famous singer Beyonce is launching a new fragrance named Heat Rush, as a successor to the last year's edition Heat. Her first fragrance was a great success and thrilled Beyonce's fans. In February 2011, just a year after Heat, the new perfume is arriving on the market.
Heat Rush is another edition to be created in collaboration with Coty Beauty. Perfumer who worked on the new fragrance is Honorine Blanc of Firmenich. The new version of Heat is envisaged to be the perfect companion to Heat, since Heat is ideal for night while Heat Rush will be great for daily walks and meetings. The focus does not lie on sexy notes but on elegance this time. Beyonce herself pays a lot of attention on creation of her perfumes and approaches them like writing a song. She hopes that women of all generations will find themselves in aromas of this fragrance, since it is young, fresh and less-serious scent.
Opening notes of Heat Rush start the composition with passion fruit sorbet, blood orange and Brazilian cherry. Its heart blooms with yellow tiger orchid, mango blossom and orange hibiscus, while a warm base closes with teak wood, honey amber and Rio sunset musk.
The fragrance is poured in an orange, glass flacon shaped as the original edition. Heat Rush was launched in 2010.

Kate Moss launched her Lilabelle perfume in 2011. In summer of 2012, she releases the first flanker under the name Lilabelle Truly Adorable. Described as a tender and playful scent, it supposes to be cherished. It draws its inspiration from the lazy English countryside weekends, picnics and tea parties in meadows.
“Lilabelle Truly Adorable is dedicated to my daughter Lila, inspired by her girlish innocence. It captures the pure beauty and playful sense of fun of youth. Old-fashion floral prints have always been a part of my summer wardrobe and were a true inspiration for both the fragrance and design”, says Kate.

Heat is the first fragrance by attractive and talented Beyonce and it arrives on the market in February 2010. Name of the fragrance was inspired by Beyonce's tour and performances. Colour of flacon and liquid was chosen after Beyonce's favourite colour – red, with a wish to look like fire with antique details.
Beyonce's temperament was depicted through the whole concept of the fragrance, from name and design to composition created in cooperation with perfumers of the house of Givaudan - Claude Dir and Olivier Gillotin. Top notes of Heat are decorated with red vanilla-orchid, magnolia, neroli and peach. A passionate heart offers honeysuckle, almond and musky cream, while a base finishes with sequoia wood, tonka and amber.
Even though Beyonce is advertising face of perfumes Diamonds Armani and True Star Tommy Hilfiger, she says that her first fragrance, Heat, represents herself. Her wish is that her first fragrance stands for everything that makes her and that she is content with the final product, without worrying about deadlines of work on the perfume. "This is my first fragrance and I want to be sure that I will love it forever! " - stated Beyonce for wwd.
Fragrance Heat was created in an antique glass flacon, just like Beyonce wanted. She coloured it in red nuances which remind of flames transforming into burning orange. Fiery and sexy, just like her, the flacon is decorated with a discrete gold detail on neck of the flacon with engraved name of the fragrance.
Advertising campaign was made by photographer Michael Thompson, while video commercial was directed by Jake Nava. Face of the advertising campaign is Beyonce Knowles, of course.

Beyonce launches her new perfume Rise in February of 2014. The concept that lies behind the creation of this fragrance was inspired by Beyonce’s on-stage persona, as well as by “female empowerment and finding the inner strength that makes women so beautiful" . The fragrance is supposedly more intimate and more natural than the previous ones, inspired by the works of singer's favorite poet Maya Angelou.
The composition is announced as intoxicating, addictive and luminous floral created by Loc D**g. Its opening notes include apricot, Italian bergamot and iced basil sorbet. The main note of the perfume is, of course, orchid and this time it is an orchid called "Golden Symphony", which is mixed with freesia and Sambac jasmine flowers and placed at the base of the autumn woods, cashmere, musk and vetiver.
