How We Started
Last September 2016 when this fairytale like business started, the 21 year old college student Ms. Kat Reyes was on the hunt for the perfect hair extensions for an upcoming event, however, the qualities of the products she tried was disappointing, little did she know that she will soon be a leading online shop that will help every bad hair day problems.
While thinking of something she could sell for business, she came up with an idea of providing a quality hair extensions. Feeling optimistic, Ms. Reyes took her luck and invested her 5,000 savings to put up “Mermaid Manila”. She would fall in long lines for couriers and remittances everyday while pulling her suitcase full of products in broad daylight, she would sacrifice sleep thinking of ideas on how to make it more convenient and fast for every client, improving online forms, online payment methods and customer oriented system. All her hard work paid off when Mermaid Manila finally went on a breakthrough year last 2018 in the fashion industry providing the best products for model photo shoots, beauty pageants, occasional events and ladies that wants to have that "Mermaid Babe" look. In just a span of 3 years, Mermaid Manila has sold over 20,000 hair extensions worldwide and continuing to grow in the business with its trademark of providing the most affordable, high quality products that will surely bring you that “Mermaid Experience”.
