| DTI Bukidnon Provincial Director Famelah Racquel D. Villanueva expresses pride in the progress of KMME mentees and alumni during the 2025 KMME-MME Batch 17 Provincial Graduation, currently happening at La Terraza by Loiza’s in Malaybalay City.

The activity is part of the 2025 Provincial Kapatid Mentor ME Summit, honoring the resilience and growth of Filipino entrepreneurs.

| The 2025 KMME-MME Batch 17 Provincial Graduation was further enriched by messages of support from key provincial and regional leaders who champion MSME growth.

Atty. Riyani Nartea, the executive secretary of Provincial Governor Rogelio P. Roque, spoke about the crucial role of entrepreneurship in rural development and poverty alleviation in the province. With continued support from the Provincial Government, MSMEs in Bukidnon are being given opportunities to showcase their products and innovations through platforms such as night markets, the Kaamulan Festival, and even at key gateways like airports.

This unwavering commitment to sustainability and local enterprise development reinforces the message that Bukidnon’s progress is rooted in the growth and resilience of its MSMEs. Her words served as a reminder that when MSMEs succeed, the entire province benefits.

He closed by assuring that DTI and LGUs are here to support, not steer, as MSMEs drive real, lasting impact toward a Bagong Pilipinas.

Tatay Petronio Ongay, a rice farmer of Zone 4 and BPIO Alen Dompol had done a demonstration on how to treat the rice straw in urea and molasses solution to his wife, Nanay Narcisa and his daughter in law Maricel. This is a simple way of re echoing what they learned during the 3-day training on Value Adding and Waste Utilization last July 29-31, 2024 in ALomah's Place and Nature Farm, Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. Tatay Petron is hopeful that he can share it to his fellow rice farmers too.
