My dad is drunk-

This evening, my dad came home drunk. Thank God, we’re okay. No argument. Just having fun and exchanging jokes.

When Papa is in his room, he repeatedly telling me “I’m sorry” and I just happily responded him, it’s alright. He then mentioned that he feels bad every time we have an argument. And I told him that I felt the same, and said “I am sorry too for talking back to you each time”.

Silenced took over.

A little later I overheard him sobbing silently saying he loves Mama (who’s up there in heaven now) 🥹😭 He said I will only understand him when I have my own family.

My heart 💔

Lord, please heal my dad 🙏

My Lord is Risen 😇 Thank you Jesus for the blood.

HE IS RISEN 🙌

We are all called to live confidently.
Our confidence doesn't come from our own strength, though. Our confidence is found in Christ alone.
Because He is alive in us, we can walk with confidence.

It’s okay if you don’t have everything figured out. It’s okay to admit to yourself you need help.

It’s okay friend. God sees you right where you are. With His gentle whispers, He’s telling you, “Do not worry. I’ve got it all handled. You can rest in Me.”

Stay kind, but set boundaries too.

When you talk with God, you become more and more like your Maker.

Remember, your circumstances may not change, but how you react to them will change with Holy Spirit alive in you.

How you handle the circumstances in your life will be better when you have a close relationship with Jesus.
