The public is hereby informed that Nestlé Philippines, Inc. is currently conducting a voluntary recall of specific batches of its NAN OPTIPRO and NANKID OPTIPRO products following a reported incident involving a raw material. Very low levels of cereulide were detected in the arachidonic acid-rich (ARA) oil supplied to the company. As a precautionary measure to protect consumers, Nestlé Philippines, Inc. has initiated this voluntary recall.
