In partnership with the Ministry of Health - BARMM and LGU Parang, the RHU Parang proudly brings you a Mobile FREE Chest X-Ray as part of the National Tuberculosis Program (NTP) and Active Case Finding (ACF) Initiative!

📅 SCHEDULE:
✅ July 23, 2025 (Wednesday) – RHU Parang Compound
✅ July 24, 2025 (Thursday) – Barangay Nituan, Parang, Maguindanao del Norte

🧑‍⚕️ This FREE SERVICE aims to detect early signs of tuberculosis (TB) and help our community breathe easier and live healthier. Calling all residents from nearby barangays — Tara na at magpa-X-ray nang LIBRE!

📌 REMINDERS FOR PARTICIPANTS:

✅ Pre-register at your nearest Barangay Health Station (BHS)

💧 Stay hydrated – drink plenty of water before the procedure

😷 Wear your facemask

👕 Wear loose, comfortable clothing

⛔ Avoid zippers, buttons, or metal accessories

⛔ Remove jewelry (necklaces, rings, belts, etc.)

🪪 Bring your PhilHealth ID or any valid ID

With the onset of the rainy season comes the increased risk of dengue fever. As part of our proactive health measures, the Barangay Health Station of Nituan conducted a Dengue Awareness Campaign targeting the Purok Leaders of the community.

The session highlighted the following key topics: 🦟 Identification of the dengue-carrying mosquito (Aedes aegypti)
⚠️ Signs and symptoms of dengue fever
✅ The importance of the 5S Strategy in dengue prevention:
• Search and destroy breeding sites
• Self-protection measures
• Seek early consultation
• Support fogging/spraying when necessary
• Sustain hydration and proper health practices

🩺Early detection and immediate consultation are vital in preventing severe complications.

Ipinapaalam po namin sa lahat ng taga Brgy. Nituan Parang Maguindanao del Norte na mayroon po tayong libreng VISUAL INSPECTION with ACETIC ACID (VIA) sa mga kababaihan bukas ng hapon, June 10,2025. Ito po ay gaganapin sa ating Health Center. Ang VIA ay isa sa mga madaliang screening test na pweding gawing unang hakbang para sa sa agarang deteksyon ng cervical cancer.
Kaya anu pang hinihintay nyo! Magkita kita tayo bukas ng hapon. Sa may mga katanungan, pwede po tayong magpadala ng mensahe sa numerong 0910-5054-342.

The Barangay Health Station (BHS) of Nituan is committed to the well-being of its senior citizens. Today, the BHS conducted comprehensive PHILPEN risk assessments, followed by the administration of Pneumovaccine to eligible individuals. This proactive approach demonstrates the BHS's commitment to safeguarding the health of its older residents.

Here's why this is important:

• PHILPEN Risk Assessment: This screening tool helps identify potential health risks and allows the BHS to tailor preventive measures and interventions for each senior citizen.

• Pneumovaccine: This vaccine protects against pneumococcal disease, a serious infection that can lead to pneumonia, meningitis, and other complications, particularly in older adults.

By prioritizing these preventive measures, the BHS Nituan is demonstrating a commitment to improving the health outcomes and quality of life for senior citizens in the community.
