It is not true that Vit C in excess of 100mg is just wasted by the body. The older you are, the more Vitamin C you need. 2,000mg of Vitamin C/day or even more can help you have better health and avoid cancer and heart diseases. "

Q4. Can we take too much Vitamin C?
If you are taking acidic vitamin (ascorbic acid) there will be bad effects (bloating, gastric irritation, intestinal irritation) because that is ACIDIC. Thus you can take as much as you want depending on your need. Wee-Vitamin C is safe & classified by the FDA as an OTC ( Over The Counter) product. No need of prescription. Note that FORTIVIT C is a water- soluble vitamin. Any excess is just excreted.

Q5. What is the proper Dosage if I am sick?
You will benefit much to avoid disease by taking 3 capsules of Vitamin C every day - 1 in the morning, 1 in the afternoon and 1 in the evening. The body does not store Vitamin C. It uses a lot (needed in 300 metabolic functions) & needs CONSTANT REPLENISHMENT to prevent many diseases.

Q8. FORTIVIT C is SODIUM ASCORBATE (Alkaline Vit C) and not ordinary ascorbic acid (acidic Vit C). Will it increase my SODIUM LEVEL?
Q9. Isn’t sodium bad for hypertensive people?

" I can state that for many years I have taken 10,000mg of Sodium Ascorbate by mouth daily, and my blood sodium remains normal. These levels are checked by an approved laboratory. I have patients under 50,000mg/day of Sodium Ascorbate and I have not observed any problem with hypertension. There are clinical studies showing that it is not chloride in table salt (sodium chloride), not simply the sodium, that elevates blood pressure. Sodium is NOT the same as sodium chloride. Neither blood pressure not blood volume was increased when sodium was given with bicarbonate, phosphate, glutamate, aspartate or ascorbic. There is NO BUILD UP OF SODIUM with the use of Sodium Ascorbate (10% sodium part only that is used up to alkalize the Ascorbate (vitamin C) - Dr. Klenner & Dr. Max Gerson ("A Cancer Therapy")

BUT BE CAREFUL WITH CALCIUM ASCORBATE! Calcium Ascorbate (mega dose) causes BUILD Up of phosphate crystals that may adversely affect kidneys, liver and brain. Mega dose Calcium Ascorbate is also not advised for treatment of cancer. Calcium calcifies tumors and hastens its growth. Instead use Sodium Ascorbate.

NO SIDE EFFECTS: ONLY HEALTH EFFECTS!

Once again, i enjoyed the day yesterday without any feeling of weakness and joint pains. I 🛵ride from Manggahan Pasig to Ali Mall Cubao to Makati then back to Robinsons Galleria mall for some SEC registration chores. Then dined and strolled...walk walk walk... Imagine our life living w/o pain... Sobra ako grateful to GOD kse na ignore ko na Vit. C (sodium ascorbate/non acidic) at naalis ko sa system ko then may ginamit si God to remind me of it... Akala ko kse okay na ang grape seed oil extract kse sbi more effective than vit.C & E kaya nakalimutan ko na ang Vit.C... then comes recurrent pain, at my age of 52 sbi ko signs of aging na nga. I actually accepted it na weak n ako, kse tumatanda na at tumataba pa... Surprisingly... HINDI PA PALA AKO MATANDA, kulang lng ako sa Vit.C.

I thought, what i'm into lately is just part of aging process: Joint pains, recurrent gout attacks, recurrent allergic rhinitis, skin allergies, feeling tired though i haven't done much chores coz i can't move much because of my back pain due to levoscoliosis, painful weak knees, feeling depressed at the end of the day for it just passed me by.
