Because her natural brow canvas was already so ideal, the strategy was pure refinement. She already had incredible hair density through the bulb and arch, so I mapped and just followed her bone structure, tidied up the strays, and concentrated the detail work on building out an elongated tail just as she requested.

Most of you know me as your brow artist, but years ago during my time as a gown designer, I had the privilege of designing this sassy lady’s wedding gown. Very recently, I had the honor of designing her brows.

Back then, we were focused on the perfect fit for her big day. Today, we’re focused on the perfect frame for her everyday. I can’t decide what I enjoyed more: her vibrant personality or seeing her brows come back to life! Client is a Sommelier from Portugal, and getting to listen to her stories while I worked was such a treat. It’s not every day I get a masterclass in fine wine and travel while mapping out the Golden Ratio! Working with old, faded tattoos is always a delicate process. I don’t accept every cover-up or correction client that comes my way. If the previous pigment is too saturated or the shape is too compromised, I’ll always be honest about whether we need to explore removal options first to ensure you get the best possible outcome. Fortunately, this beauty’s old work had faded just enough for me to work on. We restored the shape, added back that much-needed definition, and kept it looking soft and natural.
