Faced with a grim diagnosis of breast cancer early last year, Chatty Miranda, age 34, of San Luis, Pampanga, started to look for ways to reach out to other cancer patients until she learned about Hair for Hope. She passed away last October.

She had asked her brother Kevin Cunanan, age 30 to send her donation, and Hair for Hope received it posthumously. Kevin did not forget his sister's legacy. In her honor, he is sending his own cut hair.
