• What is the ingredient? Understand its identity—its properties, characteristics, and origin.
• What is its purpose? Ask yourself what role it plays in a formulation.
• Do you truly need it? Experiment! Test if it’s essential for your blend, or if your creation can shine without it.

Tagalog naman -> Kung magbabasa ka tungkol sa perfumery ngayong holiday break, tandaan ang mga tanong na ito para ma-filter ang mga maling akala mula sa mga praktikal na kaalaman:
• Ano ang sangkap? Alamin ang katangian nito—ang mga properties, pinagmulan, at gamit nito.
• Para saan ito? Tanungin kung ano ang papel nito sa formulation.
• Kailangan mo ba talaga ito? Mag-eksperimento! Subukan kung mahalaga ito sa iyong blend o kung kaya nitong mag-shine kahit wala ito.
