In a time when salons are a dime a dozen, Nikki Bacay Salon goes beyond the call of service to give clients a sensory experience unlike any other. Upon entering their premises, you’ll be greeted with a whiff of cinnamon and nutmeg that emanates from their house brewed coffee, soothing beats fill the premises, while delicate arrangements of calla lilies in transparent vases provide as visual accents to their contemporary modern interiors. His journey as a hairstylist from age 18 has been a source of inspiration for all. From his first salon in Manila that catered to a student clientele, to his twelve-year stint in Piandre Salon, he rose from the ranks to establish his own salon in Greenhills where serves a steady clientele of A-listers and VIPs. An ambassador for Schwarzkopf for six years now, he develops his craft by exposing himself to different cultures in Asia and Europe to get the latest trends and techniques. Bacay shuttles between the world of high fashion, contributing to magazines such as Metro, Mega, Preview, Lifestyle Asia, and Wedding Essentials, and the salon industry, where he gathered prestigious awards from Hair Asia, the Hairdressing Cosmetologists Association of the Philippines, Philippine Hairdressing, as well as garnering the Filipino Hairdresser of the Year award in 2002.
