On September 25, 2024, The IAVIS Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Participated in distributing of t-shirts for IAVIS students, generously donated by our Hon. City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas with Hon.Vice Mayor Inday Teresa Almalbis and councils.
We are sincerely grateful for your love, kindness and generosity for our IAVIS students. It is truly appreciated and will greatly help us to continue striving for excellence in education. BKD Officers also took on the responsibility of crowd control, ensuring the event ran smoothly and safely. The distribution of t-shirts was successful and the students of IAVIS were very happy and grateful to what they received.

The BARKADA KONTRA DROGA (BKD) of Inzo Arnaldo Village Integrated School (IAVIS) organized the first “Crime Prevention and Anti-Illegal Drug" Lecture for school year 2024-25 that was held at IAVIS Covered Gym on September 13, 2024. The BKD officers under the guidance of Mr. Mark Alvin A. Alisasis and Ms. Rona D. Albor, the BKD advisers, with the support of Ms. Jocelyn E. Hedriana, our esteemed Principal III, took the initiative to organize a Symposium related to the issue of prevention and control of illegal drug use. The Symposium, entitled "Crime Prevention and Anti-illegal Drugs Abuse" was an important event with the goal of teaching youth the value of preventing drug usage and raising awareness of the issue.

PSSG. Roland V. Diama, the invited guest from the Philippine National Police (PNP) discussed the possible effects of drug abuse and how to fight it to keep a drug free community.

The Symposium provided a forum for serious cooperation and collective action to combat drug abuse. It provided students with insightful knowledge to create a drug-free environment. Active participation is encouraged to solve this urgent problem and work together to create a safer and healthier society.

Overall, The Symposium organized by the IAViS' BKD with advocacy in fighting drug abuse ay naging matagumpay at nagbigay aral sa lahat ng mga mag-aaral at g**o sa IAVIS. Through this event, we can keep spreading awareness about drug abuse and its negative effects on both individuals and society, as well as bringing about good change and uniting against it.
Together, imbibing the spirit of Barkdahan, we can fight drug abuse and create a healthier Inzonian community and a brighter future.
