We are near the finish line but I know it is just a beginning of a new journey.
I never thought that Id be joining a beauty pageant at this age. Some People may think that beauty pageants are just for women who are beautiful from the outside and should have bodies like a Coca Cola bottle. Some may think that it is just for glamour. But when I found out that, Queen of the World Philippines is focusing on "Beauty Redefined" and there are categories, there is a spark inside me that tells me to give it a shot. During the interview, I asked if there is a height requirement (answer: NO height Requirement) and if they allow women with kids but unmarried. The answer is YES! Women from different walks of life can be part of this journey. It ignited more the fire inside me to discover more about myself. This time it is about ME and what I can share to the world.

Christmas Inspiration
(Notes from the designer)

She is wearing a Parol inspired costume by Santino Rivera. The parol is an ornamental, star-shaped Christmas lantern from the Philippines.

Traditionally made of bamboo and paper, it represents the Star of Bethlehem -which guided the Three Wise Men to the manger where Christ the Child was born.

In the yesteryears, the lighted parol illuminated the paths of the Filipinos during their ritual dawn masses of the Yuletide Season.

Today it does not only symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, it is also a testament of the Filipino people's resiliency.
