Shuji Kida Hair Salon remains committed to keeping our clients safe. We would like to assure our clients that our standards for hygiene and safety in our efforts to abide by government regulations have not grown lax, even after seven months of continued operations amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

All of our facilities are regularly disinfected and sanitized both before the start and after the end of our daily operations, and our tools and equipment are also sanitized after each usage. We have maintained this standard since our reopening on June 15, 2020.

We have only continued to heighten our standards for hygiene and safety, and have introduced new equipment and operating procedures in the interest of keeping both our clients and our staff safe from COVID-19. Our salon is now equipped with a state-of-the-art, medical-grade Luftonic Air Purifier, with an eight-stage filtration process, which is capable of filtering and disinfecting viral particles from the air. We have also equipped the salon with a disinfecting fogger for our staff and our clients.

Before the start and after the end of our daily operations, we use our state-of-the-art air purifier to sanitize our salon using ultraviolet light, and the air purifier is kept running at all times during operating hours. As a policy, both our staff and our clients are disinfected using our disinfecting fogger upon entering the salon in order to ensure that the risk of contamination from the outside is significantly reduced. Additionally, the disinfecting fogger is also used before our clients and staff exit the salon in order to ensure that they leave our salon clean and with the peace of mind that their safety is our number one concern.

We echo our commitment to maintaining and intensifying our high standards for hygiene and client safety. We remain committed to make you beautiful and keep you safe, even beyond this pandemic.

Recently, some rumors have been circulating that someone has contracted COVID-19 from a salon in North Greenhills.

Please rest assured that Shuji Kida Hair Salon is safe and COVID-free, and that no one has contracted COVID-19 from being in our premises. Our salon only recently reopened on June 16, 2020 — the incubation period for the disease is 14 days, which has not yet elapsed. In addition to this, we have taken great care to ensure that proper health protocols are being enforced. Our staff have been tested for COVID-19, and were found negative to ensure our clients' safety. We would like to emphasize that our workforce is skeletal and that we choose the staff best suited to each day's work and needs. Furthermore, they are shuttled to and fro the salon to ensure that they do not come into contact with the public. Our facilities are regularly disinfected with hospital grade disinfectants each day before the start of our operation, after each client that we serve, and at the end of each day's operation. Lastly, we have not and will not accept new/walk-in clients at this time to ensure that we know each of the clients that we serve and their travel history.

Shuji Kida Hair Salon prides itself in its quality of service, clean facilities, and the best hygiene practices of our staff, which our clients can attest to. We have always and will continue to put our clients' health and safety above all else as our number one priority.

As Shuji Kida Hair Salon prepares to reopen in the coming days as the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine is lifted to make way for the General Community Quarantine which will allow the reopening of hair salons and beauty care businesses, we would like to inform and to assure our clients that we have always practiced social distancing even before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The layout of the salon was designed with the physical distancing and privacy of our clients in mind from the very start. The open space layout of the salon allows ample space for our clients to enjoy their privacy and follow social distancing guidelines as they sit down in their respective chairs. In addition to this, we have 2 private rooms, and our shampoo chairs are spaced generously, and do not face one another.

As a business, we have always emphasized the value of hygiene in both our staff and our facilities. We have trained our staff to maintain the highest degree of personal hygiene and sanitation, through constant hand washing and other best practices. Aside from this, our facilities are maintained regularly, kept meticulously clean, and we have placed a special importance on disinfecting our facilities everyday, and our tools and equipment after each usage from the very start of our operation in 2007.

We will continue to maintain and intensify our high standards for HYGIENE and CLIENT SAFETY. We remain committed to make you beautiful and keep you safe.

He selects the finest quality technical and chemical products, ensuring the hair is not damaged during the process and that it is protected and treated. We want to make sure we are looking after you!
