In medieval times, the ancient remedies were forgotten, and people didn’t clean their teeth. As a result, even royalty like Queen Elizabeth I ended up with black and rotting teeth. In 1824, a dentist named Peabody added soap to toothpaste for better cleaning. That was used until around 1945, when other ingredients replaced it – notably sodium lauryl sulphate, which makes a smoother paste. This is still a common toothpaste ingredient. In the early 1900s, fluorides were first added to the cleaners to prevent tooth decay.

Sweet potatoes digest really well for most people. Certain foods like Sweet Potato, beans, onions, and garlic are rich in polysaccharides which are relatively complex carbohydrates. They are the culprits which produces fart. Let’s face it; there is no better feeling than releasing a long-held fart and the actual act of farting might be embarrassing if you’re caught by the wrong person, but the relief of passing gas is worth it. Holding in gas can make you grumpy, uncomfortable, and snappish; reasonably, releasing boosts your mood considerably!
