2 Chronicles 17 — Reflection 🤍

“Jehoshaphat strengthened himself in the ways of the Lord.” — 2 Chronicles 17:4

Ang pinaka-highlight ng chapter na ito para sa akin ay kung paano pinili ni Jehoshaphat na unahin ang Diyos at ang Kanyang Salita.

Nang piliin niyang sundin ang ways ng Panginoon at hindi gayahin ang practices ng mga nakapaligid sa kanya, God strengthened his kingdom.

Hindi po lahat ng ginagawa ng mundo ay kailangan nating gayahin. Kapag pinili nating sumunod sa Diyos, Siya mismo ang nagbibigay ng strength para manatili tayo sa tamang direction.

True Leadership Starts with the Word

Hindi lang si Jehoshaphat ang natutong sumunod sa Diyos. Nagpadala siya ng mga leaders, Levites, at priests sa buong Judah upang ituro ang Book of the Law of the Lord (2 Chronicles 17:7–9)

Para sa akin, napakaganda ponito dahil ipinapakita na ang tunay na leadership ay hindi lang tungkol sa pagiging leader, it’s about leading people closer to God and His Word.

Hindi sapat na tayo lang ang may alam sa Salita ng Diyos. Kung tunay nating nauunawaan ang value, magiging ang puso natin gusto na mag turo, i-share at ipasa sa iba.

Hindi po nagsimula ang strength ni Jehoshaphat sa kanyang army. Nagsimula ito sa kanyang relationship, obedience, at commitment to God’s Word.

At ito rin ang paalala sa akin bilang nasa ministry.

Hindi lang tayo tinatawag na mag-gather ng mga tao. Tinatawag tayo na dalhin sila sa Word of God.

Because when people are rooted in God’s Word, they become stronger, wiser, and more prepared for the battles ahead. Kahit mahina tayo, may Diyos na nag papalakas at lumalaban para sa atin.

Build the foundation first.
Strengthen yourself in the Lord.
Then help others grow in His Word. 🤍

A paycheck is more than income, it’s a provision from God. 🤍

Before we decide where to spend it, let’s remember Who provided it.

Spend with intention.
Save with wisdom.
Give with a willing heart.
Prepare for tomorrow.
And enjoy it with gratitude. 😊
