This is LIFE ✨💖

Imagine a frog placed in a pot of cold water. As the heat slowly rises, it stays calm, adapting to the gradual change. The water gets warmer, yet the frog tolerates the discomfort, convincing itself it can handle it. But when the water finally boils, it’s too weak to jump out—and it dies.

The frog doesn’t perish from the heat alone, but from failing to act when it still had the strength to escape. This is the “Boiling Frog Syndrome.”

Like the frog, we sometimes endure small injustices or discomforts, telling ourselves, “It’s fine, I’ll deal with it later.” We adapt to negativity little by little—until it overwhelms us. By the time we decide to act, our energy and courage may already be gone.

The lesson is clear: don’t wait until it’s too late. When you sense harm or injustice, speak up, set boundaries, and protect your peace. Act early—before slow tolerance turns into silent suffering.

Never let yourself become the boiled frog—someone who wanted to survive but waited too long to save themselves.

Here are some key takeaways from the book "Less Mess Less Stress" by Zoe Mckey:

- Decluttering your physical space reduces mental clutter: The book emphasizes the strong connection between a cluttered environment and a cluttered mind. By decluttering your home and workspace, you create a calmer and more focused mental state.
- Minimalist routines are key: The book doesn't just advocate for a one-time decluttering session. Instead, it promotes establishing regular, minimalist routines to maintain a clutter-free life. These routines could involve daily tidying, regular purges of unwanted items, or simply being mindful of what you bring into your home.
- Practical strategies for decluttering: "Less Mess Less Stress" provides concrete, actionable steps for decluttering different areas of your life, from your wardrobe to your digital files. It offers methods to help you identify and let go of items that no longer serve a purpose, providing a structured approach to the process.
- Focus on intentionality: The book encourages readers to be more intentional about their possessions and their habits. This involves thoughtful consideration before acquiring new items and regularly assessing whether existing items still align with your values and lifestyle.
- Stress reduction as a primary benefit: The core message is that reducing physical clutter translates directly to reduced stress and improved mental well-being. By simplifying your environment, you create space for greater peace of mind and improved focus.

In short, "Less Mess Less Stress" is a practical guide to decluttering your life, not just physically, but also mentally, leading to a less stressful and more fulfilling existence.

"Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life" by Héctor García and Francesc Miralles explores the concept of ikigai, a Japanese philosophy that emphasizes finding purpose and meaning in life.

Here are 10 main points from the book:

1. Ikigai is about finding your reason for being. The word "ikigai" translates to "reason for being" or "a reason to get up in the morning." It's not about achieving a specific goal or status, but about finding joy and fulfillment in everyday life.
2. Ikigai is not a single destination, but a journey. It’s about the process of exploring your passions, discovering what you're good at, and aligning those things with what the world needs.
3. Ikigai is influenced by your values, passions, skills, and mission. It's about finding the intersection of these four elements to create a sense of purpose.
4. Ikigai is not just about work. It encompasses all aspects of your life, including your relationships, hobbies, and community involvement.
5. Ikigai is about living in the present moment. It’s about appreciating the small things in life and finding joy in the journey, rather than focusing on the end goal.
6. Ikigai is about staying curious and learning new things. It's about embracing a growth mindset and continuously seeking knowledge and experiences.
7. Ikigai is about surrounding yourself with positive people. It’s about building relationships with people who support your goals and inspire you to be your best self.
8. Ikigai is about taking care of yourself. It's about prioritizing your physical and mental health, and practicing self-care so you can live a long and fulfilling life.
9. Ikigai is about making a contribution to the world. It’s about finding ways to make a positive impact on others and leave a legacy behind.
10. Ikigai is a lifelong journey. It's about constantly evolving and adapting to new situations and challenges.
