Nagpahayag ng paghanga si dating Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol sa naging tindig ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kanyang unang public appearance matapos ang 18 buwan, nang personal itong humarap sa International Criminal Court (ICC) sa The Hague.

“Love him or hate him, guilty or innocent, there is no denying that former President Rodrigo Duterte’s calmness in the face of adversity is amazingly remarkable, Here he exudes an aura of a man who has long accepted his fate and ready to take whatever comes his way.” ani Piñol sa kanyang social media post.

Dagdag pa niya, mistulang tinanggap na umano ni FPRRD ang anumang maaaring mangyari:

“Jailed for 18 months, he comes out with a faint smile on his face as if saying, ‘You can’t break me.’”

Tinawag din na “rare display of courage” ang nakita niya sa dating pangulo:
