Bugbog-sarado na ang mga magsasaka at mangingisda sa gitna ng hindi maawat na malakihang taas-presyo sa produktong petrolyo.

Sa panayam ng DZXL News, sinabi ni Sinag Executive Director Jayson Cainglet na nabubulukan na ng ani ang mga magsasaka at bagsak pa ang farmgate price ng ilang gulay gaya ng kamatis at sibuyas.

Ganito rin ang sitwasyon sa Benguet kung saan napipilitan na ang ilang magsasaka na huwag nang anihin ang kanilang tanim na gulay dahil sa taas ng gastos sa produksyon at transportasyon.

Umaabot na umano sa ₱18 hanggang ₱20 ang gastos sa produksyon ng kada kilo ng repolyo pero bumabagsak ang farmgate price nito sa tatlo hanggang walong piso kada kilo.
