𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆 | The establishment of a nursery facility with the help of the 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, marks another milestone in supporting the 𝙂𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩. This space will serve as the starting point where seeds are carefully nurtured until they grow into strong and healthy seedlings ready for planting.

More than just growing plants, the nursery represents teamwork, dedication, and the shared goal of promoting sustainable agriculture in the community. It also provides an opportunity for the youth to learn the value of patience, responsibility, and care in every stage of plant growth.

𝙍𝙀𝘾𝘼𝙋 | Representatives from the 𝟒-𝐇 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. – 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨, in coordination with the 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, attended the training on “𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙑𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩” held at the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) Caraga Region XIII.

The training provided valuable insights on strengthening local vegetable production, improving farm-to-market processes, and building sustainable community-based food systems. Participants learned practical strategies on seed selection, nursery establishment, crop management, post-harvest handling, and value addition, ensuring that every stage of the vegetable value chain supports food security and livelihood opportunities.

The organization was represented by 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃. 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨, President, and 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞 𝐆. 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬, Officer, who actively participated in discussions and hands-on sessions aimed at enhancing the implementation of the 𝙂𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩.

This capacity-building activity reflects the shared commitment to empowering the youth, improving agricultural practices, and promoting a sustainable and resilient community food system.🌱💚

𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆 | The students from 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙩 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡, in collaboration with the 4-𝙃 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨, 𝙄𝙣𝙘. – 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧, took part in a Training on 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 held at the Department of Agriculture – Trento Research and Experiment Station, Trento, Agusan del Sur.

This activity was made possible with the support and assistance of the 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, further strengthening collaborative efforts in promoting sustainable agricultural learning opportunities for the youth.

The training provided participants with hands-on experience in essential mushroom production processes such as substrate preparation, sterilization, fruiting bag making, inoculation, and proper management of a mushroom house. Through these activities, students gained practical knowledge that can be applied to livelihood projects, school-based enterprises, and community food production initiatives.

Mushroom cultivation continues to be recognized as one of the most sustainable and profitable agricultural ventures, requiring minimal space, utilizing agricultural wastes as substrate, and offering quick income opportunities. By empowering the youth with these skills, the program supports not only agricultural innovation but also encourages entrepreneurship, environmental stewardship, and food security.

This collaboration strengthens the commitment of both the school and the organization in promoting agricultural excellence and nurturing young individuals who are capable of leading community-based initiatives.💚

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟒-𝐇 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 – 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 successfully held its 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 on November 7, 2025 in preparation for the implementation of the 𝙂𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩. This gathering provided an opportunity to discuss plans, set priorities, and strengthen teamwork as the organization moves toward promoting sustainable agriculture and community-based vegetable production.

With shared commitment and a clear vision, the organization looks forward to cultivating a project that will inspire youth involvement, support food security efforts, and contribute to a greener and more resilient community. 🌱💚
