I’m a beginner in photography, and honestly, I struggled a lot during that night event shoot. The organizing team wasn’t able to give out talent fees that night, and I didn’t feel comfortable asking for mine because I wasn’t happy with the photos I took.

Yes, I did learn something new and discovered areas where I can improve, but my discouragement and self-doubt started to outweigh my passion.

Everything changed after I read this message. I may still lack skills, but knowing that I was able to make some people happy meant more than I expected. It reminded me why I started in the first place.

Now, I feel inspired to keep going and keep improving because I genuinely enjoy it. I believe that someday, I’ll reach a point where there’s no pressure anymore, just pure happiness and joy in what I do.
