At the 2026 Outstanding Filipino Retailers (OFR) Awards, Roberto “Bobby” Claudio was honored with the PRA President’s Award as a Pillar of Philippine Retail Leadership, alongside Ma. Alegria “Bing” Limjoco.

🛍️ From a small toy store in Greenhills in 1978, Claudio helped build what would become Toby’s Sports—showing the importance of recognizing opportunities, adapting to change and having the courage to reinvent.

🤝 His decades of involvement with the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) further extended his impact beyond his own enterprise. As PRA President from 2023–2025 and now Chairman of the PRA Board, he has helped advance conversations around digital transformation, sustainability, fair competition, intellectual property, tourism and people development.

❤️ His commitment to youth and community development through the Toby’s Youth Sports Foundation adds another dimension to a legacy built not only on commerce, but also on creating opportunities for others.

At the 2026 Outstanding Filipino Retailers (OFR) Awards, Ma. Alegria “Bing” Sibal-Limjoco was honored with the PRA President’s Award as a Pillar of Philippine Retail Leadership, alongside fellow retail leader Roberto “Bobby” Claudio.

But Bing Limjoco’s legacy goes far beyond a title or an award.

🌏 Known as the “Mother of Philippine Franchising,” she helped open doors for Filipino entrepreneurs to understand franchising, build stronger business systems and pursue opportunities beyond their original markets.

🎓 As a pioneer in professionalizing franchising in the Philippines—and the first Filipino and first Asian to earn the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation—her influence has also been deeply rooted in education and mentorship.

🤝 Her continuing involvement with the PRA reflects a leadership philosophy built around collaboration, knowledge-sharing and giving back. Even as Philippine retail enters a new era, she continues to contribute to the industry's growth.
