BENTENG BIGAS PROGRAM SA DAVAO

The Department of Agriculture (DA) announced that the PHP20/kg rice under the "Benteng Bigas Meron (BBM) Na" program may be made available across the Davao Region this month to support those affected by the recent Magnitude 7.4 earthquake.

DA Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. also ordered a rapid assessment of agricultural damages in quake-hit areas.
