I am Joy Austria. I studied Massage Therapy at Steiner Academy in London in preparation for working on cruise ships. I am deeply grateful for all the experiences that have helped me grow—my heartfelt thanks to Steiner Academy, my managers who guided and molded us, and all the friends and guests I’ve met along the way.

Working on a cruise ship is like running your own business. Training and seminars are essential for continued skill development and knowledge. Socializing, meeting and greeting guests, and conducting spa tours are all ways to showcase your expertise and specialties, such as well-being massage, therapeutic deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, couples massage, and detoxification massage.
