What Is HIKO?

Origin of the Name: "HIKO" combines “High” + “Ko”, where “Ko” means nose in Korean—which fittingly reflects its purpose of creating a higher, more defined nasal profile .

Procedure: Thin, absorbable PDO threads (sometimes PCL) are inserted under the skin of the nose (bridge and/or tip) using a blunt cannula. These threads gently lift, support, and scaffold the nasal tissues to reshape the nose without surgery .

Here are the Do’s and Don’ts after Botox to ensure safe and effective results:

✅ DO’s After Botox:

1. Stay upright for at least 4 hours after treatment.

2. Move your facial muscles gently (smile, frown) to help the Botox settle.

3. Use cold compress if you have mild swelling or redness.

4. Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours (prevents bruising).

5. Be gentle when cleansing your face – use light pressure.

6. Take it easy – avoid intense physical activity for the rest of the day.

7. Sleep with your head elevated the first night, if possible.

❌ DON’Ts After Botox:

1. Do not rub or massage the treated area for 24 hours.

2. Avoid lying down flat for at least 4 hours.

3. Don’t apply makeup for at least 4–6 hours.

4. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.

5. Stay away from saunas, steam rooms, or hot showers for 24 hours.

6. Don’t get facials, chemical peels, or microneedling for at least 1 week.

7. Avoid sun exposure or tanning beds immediately after.
