HOW I OVERCAME MY FEAR OF EDITING ?
I have been doing photography for more than 7 years now.. it’s a passion but I never got into editing and when I did it I hated it. I couldn’t ever find the aesthetic I wanted or was ever proud of. Constant over-analysing my work killed my creativity. I developed anxiety over editing photos. My frustration only grew with time.. and instead of practising it, I started running away from it.. wanting an easy way out of it.. thanks to a friend who pushed me to calm the **** down and chill.. it took me a while but I knew the only way I could ever get over this fear and edit well was to practise it so recently I started experimenting..
I have never been someone who can follow a tutorial patiently and I never found a tutorial that gave me my desired aesthetic and I knew I had to create it in my own..
So here are a few steps I took to start enjoying something I once feared?
1. Experiment with different tools and learn by practise than watching tutorials as I already knew the basics of photoshop
2. Asked my friend to help me analyse my favourites and inspirations like and .
3. Experimenting with different styles of editing on one picture
4. Letting my creativity work its process out rather than confining myself to one style
5. Trying to chill and enjoy the process rather than fearing it and over-analysing and killing my creativity.
And that’s how I ended up creating different versions of this one with the first one being my absolute favourite❤️ never though I could love my work but it takes time and guts to face your fears and get over them.
Sharing this so you know it’s a sign for you to overcome your fear of something that you really wanna do..
It maybe difficult, it will take time but if you do it consistently you can do it ❤️
Take the step, be who you always wanted to be.

Got my nails done again🥰 I have a love and hate relationship with nails in general but whenever I am feeling low.. getting my nails done legit feels like the best self care and I feel happy, more confident and tbh completely transformed..
