BENEFITS OF DATES
The Al Ajwa Dates are rich in minerals like Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, Fiber, Proteins & Vitamins.

Potassium: Is crucial for life and necessary for the heart, controlling blood pressure (American Heart Association), kidneys, and other organs to work normally. Low potassium is also associated with a risk of stroke, arthritis, cancer, digestive disorders, and infertility.

Magnesium: Experts say that many people in the U.S. aren't eating enough foods with magnesium. It helps keep blood pressure normal, bones strong, and the heart rhythm steady.

Type-2 Diabetes: Al Ajwa Dates contain fructose, a major portion of the total sugar in the fruit. Anti-Oxidant and Anti-Inflammatory: The anti-inflammatory activity of the pure isolates from Ajwa fruits was revealed by their COX-1 and -2 enzyme inhibitions. Among these, flavonoid glycoside 1 showed the highest COX-1 enzyme inhibitory profile, similar to that of aspirin, and COX-2 enzyme inhibition similar to that of naproxen. Triterpenoids 2 and 3 also showed moderate COX-1 and -2 enzyme inhibitions, similar to ibuprofen. (J. Agric. Food Chem. 2013, 61, 5834-5840)

Normal Food and Dates: The normal food we eat every day may not give us the required quantity of minerals and amino acids, for example, in comparison with what we might obtain from eating few dates. Dates contain a high percentage of carbohydrate, 14 types of fatty acids, 15 salts and minerals, protein with 23 different amino acids, six vitamins and a high percentage of dietary fiber. (Int.
