The Department of Medicine,NMCN District Headquarters Hospital Narowal organized a Basic Life Support (BLS) workshop at DCN auditorium under supervision of Prof Dr Shazia Jamil. Dr Yasir Shafi ,was the Certified Instructor from Mayo Hospital,Lahore.

We're thrilled to share that our Principal Prof Dr Ch.M. Kamran graced the occasion with his presence as Chief Guest, showing his commitment to quality medical education. Throughout the workshop, he actively engaged with participants, ensuring they grasped the essential techniques.Dr M Afzal Rajput,MS DHQTH Narowal graced the ocasion as guest of honor.

The event saw an overwhelming turnout of faculty including Dr Zahid Randhawa CEO, Prof Rana Sohail,Dr Zafar Mengal,Dr Uzma Shaheen,Dr Nazeer,Dr Munib,Mos,demonstrators, nursing & 1122 staff, all eager to enhance their life-saving skills.

Kudos to the organizing team of Medicine department for putting together such an informative and interactive session! The BLS workshop was indeed a resounding success, and we look forward to more such initiatives in the future."

Another success story by the faculty of Narowal Medical college.This time by the team of Pediatrics under the supervision of Prof Summaira Naveed.The team successfully intubated and ventilated a 3 days old baby with respiratory failure due to Prematurity, RDS, and congenital pneumonia in Neonatal ICU at DHQ Teaching Hospital Narowal.The baby remained on the ventilator for 48 hours and was extubated successfully,( both Intubation/extubation performed by Dr Imran Bodla AP Peads). Notably, this was the first baby in NICU to receive critical care and was discharged successfully.The team included Chief Consultant Dr. Farooq,consultants Dr. Ameez, Dr. Samia, and Dr. Farid, as well as the RMOs, MOs & staff nurse.The team thanked Principal Prof Dr ch.M Kamran and Medical Suprintendent Dr M Afzal Rajput for the upgradation of NICU with the ventilators that helped the ailing humanity to safe this important life.

ALHAMDULILLAH First time in the history of DHQ Teaching Hospital Narowal, Total knee replacement surgery has been performed successfully by team Dr Fraz Noor Associate professor & HOD orthopedic Surgery Narowal Medical College, Dr Haseeb saqlain bajwa Assistant professor,Dr Hafiz Nasir Consultant orthopaedic surgeon .
Alhamdolillah changing the culture and healthcare to specialized healthcare in Narowal under the patronage of Dr M Afzal Rajpoot MS DHQTH Narowal.

By the efforts of worthy Medical Suprintendent Dr M Afzal Rajput a speciality clinic is now open in OPD room No 4 at DHQ Teaching Hospital Narowal.It will cater patients of Pulmonology,Neurology and Nephrology.
