An inside sales representative converts pre-qualified sales leads and generates new business with pre-existing customers. They use upselling tactics to secure the best possible deal and follow up with clients to ensure an excellent customer service experience.

Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner. Responds to customers' questions. Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters.

Inside Sales Representatives work in either an office environment or a retail setting selling products to customers. They're often responsible for gaining new leads and converting them into ongoing customers by building lasting connections and relationships with them.

As an Inside Sales Representative you will work with customers to ensure a smooth sales process. You will demonstrate excellent customer services and professionalism during in store and follow up with customers. You will develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional products to current customers.

Sales representative, or Retail Sales Associate, is responsible for assisting customers throughout the buying process. Their duties include greeting customers when they enter the store, helping customers find specific products or showing them how to use them and ringing up customer purchases on the POS register.

Inside sales representatives sell products and services to customers either in an office environment or a store retail location. In each setting, they will primarily deal with either walk-in customers or source sales via email, cold calling, and lead follow-up calls.
