I was reading through your comments in my last post related to Body shaming and I felt so over whelmed..
It made me feel confident about what I looked like and made me thank ALLAH even more for having surrounded me with people who loved me just the way I was ❤ I am not afraid to show myself anymore ! I feel free of my demons ! Feels like a fresh breath of air !
Having said that, in no way am I endorsing being over-weight. Being obese is a disease and it should be dealt with as soon as possible BUT never under pressure. Always at your own terms and always for your healthy wellbeing.

I got a lot of messages from girls who wanted to know how to deal with negativity as it shatters their confidence on public platforms. Hear me out, this is for you;

Nobody has the right to slide into your Dms or comments just to write something nasty. We also know what we look like, we also have mirrors in our homes, but, gee, thanks for showing your ugly mind ! 🤭
If these messages ever make you feel down, always remember that such people definitely envy you. They are sitting behind the screens, oblivious to everything but themselves, just taking out their daily frustrations on you because they:
A) Have nothing better to do with their miserable lives.
B) Can't achieve the kind of success and confidence that you have !
C) Are suffering from some kind of complexity and saying hurtful things gives them temporary relaxation.

Once you bear that in mind, their hurtful words will cease to matter. I would suggest simply delete those comments, block those people and say a prayer that may God heal their hearts and give them guidance 🙏🏼

It aint going to be easy but it will make you stronger in the longer run. Putting yourself out on the social media is not an easy task and not everybody is going to agree with you and it is absolutely OKAY. you can't satisfy everyone and you can't fall on everybody's standards.
These people will always remain sitting in their spiteful den and you will continue to rise once you accept yourself. This will be your victory!
Keep that chin up, keep that flare high and you, my darling, will be unstoppable 💪🏼❤

I can't remember one moment in my entire life where I wasn't bullied, shamed to tears for looking the way I do..laughed at by onlookers for having arms and legs bigger than a body builders.
Because of my "inability" to look like other girls in my class, I had difficulty making friends.I couldn't trust anyone.. always felt like everybody was staring at me.. making fun of me.. it tormented me to no end and made me feel very alone
Growing up wasn't easy.. I was so insecure about the way I looked, it made me take some very rash decisions in life that I now deeply regret. I had become suicidal. I was done with always being compared to other girls around me.. done with the standards this world had laid out for people like me.I dont remember anything else except for how much hurt this had caused. It had destroyed precious days of my childhood..
Fast forward to today, everything has changed. I completed my education with grace, I made my career, and I got married too (much to the disappointment of local aunties) and most importantly,I made my parents feel proud of me..in whose eyes, everything about me was perfect ever since the day I was born.
My desolation lead me to you all.. a family of 47k strong individuals who became more of a family rather than friends. I found sisters amongst you that have defended me selflessly... never met and yet I know they will always shower their selfless blessings and will lend their tireless support. I will forever be grateful for this gift from God.
Even now, I receive hateful messages from people who think their filthy words would affect me as they have done so as a child. Let me tell you something; what doesn't kills you, makes you stronger.
Your ill wishes do not matter to me anymore. You will always remain in that hateful shell for your entire life while I will continue onwards, grow and flourish. ❤ your hate for the way my body looks only fuels my fire for achieving more in life.
So can I now say, that all of this has been a blessing in disguise ?
Yes.definitely yes.
This world is getting a darker place to live day by day. Your little words and gestures can bring hope in that darkness. Be that light in someone's life ✨ ❤
