🎓 One of the technical universities in Poland has adopted our latest platform iteration for their practical work in an industrial design course. Right now, a group of students is working hard to design a new, more practical version of it. 📚✏️

🌐 Exciting news! We're gearing up for the Demo Day by Kyiv Tech Hub 2023 in Warsaw on November 30th, organized by Polish - Ukrainian Startup Bridge. We'll be pitching our project alongside 9 other amazing teams. Wish us luck! 🤞🌉

🇺🇦 Back in Ukraine, we're conducting research in two significant areas. First, we're focusing on helping children with valgus deformity of the foot, primarily affecting kids with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and similar neurological disorders that impact the musculoskeletal system. We're collaborating with top professionals to ensure our approach is both effective and scientifically sound. 🧑‍⚕️👣

🔬 Our second focus is on individuals with Type 2 diabetes. In partnership with the leading rehabilitation center in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, we're working on a program to help manage blood sugar levels through exercise. We're confident in showing impressive results soon, with over 150 satisfied patients already benefiting from our equipment. 💪🩺

👣 Confronting Hallux Valgus Across Ages: From Childhood to Adulthood 👣

Hallux Valgus (HV), widely recognized as a bunion, is a prevalent forefoot deformity characterized by a lateral deviation of the proximal phalanx and a medial deviation of the first metatarsal head, along with metatarsus primus varus. Women are disproportionately affected, often attributed to tight footwear and high heels.

👠 A study highlighted an astonishing 15:1 female-to-male ratio, underscoring the need for awareness and preventive measures.

👶 When it comes to children, Flat Valgus Foot Deformity is among the most common orthopedic issues. This condition results in decreased foot arches and an X-shaped leg alignment, leading to an unstable gait, quick fatigue while walking, and pain in the lower limb muscles and joints.

🚨 If left unaddressed, valgus deformity in children can lead to spinal curvatures, coordination issues, and in severe cases, disability and loss of ability to work. The psychological impact on school-aged children and teenagers can also be significant due to the cosmetic aspect of the condition.

Causes of Valgus Foot Deformity in Children:
- Congenital factors such as low birth weight, maternal infections, and underdeveloped bodily systems.
- Genetic and neuromuscular diseases (e.g., Cerebral Palsy, neuropathy).
- Inherent connective and bone tissue pathologies.
- Incorrect footwear or premature walking.

📢 Our latest tri-axial platform offers hope and treatment for hallux valgus sufferers by enabling three crucial foot movements:

Drawing from the research "A potent physiological method to magnify and sustain soleus oxidative metabolism improves glucose and lipid regulation" by Marc T. Hamilton, Deborah G. Hamilton, and Theodore W. Zderic, we understand the power of the soleus muscle in regulating blood-borne substrates. 📊

Despite the entire human musculature accounting for only about 15% of the body's oxidative metabolism of glucose at rest, the human soleus muscle can significantly boost local oxidative metabolism for extended periods without fatigue. 🏃‍♂️
