I love this video in my studio with @kaeli.tv ❤️ The s**g haircut is all about a couple things. The first is elevating your hands pretty high up that way you get fluid layers and never a chunky mushroom on top with skinny length. The more you elevate the fuller the hair will be left at the bottom and the softer the layers will flow. another thing that's really important to consider. Are the face framing bits as they pretty much make the haircut. Aren't cut short enough they just get lost. obviously the bags are also important. The right length to hit the shape of the face really matters and making the haircut look sexy. And lastly, maybe even the most important is the crown layers. They need to be short enough and lightweight enough that they almost disappear yet give that gorgeous volume on top.these are all my simple tricks and considerations when I am creating a s**g haircut. I'm teaching a class. The tickets will go on sale tomorrow. I will be online for those of you who don't live in the states! The class is being held live and virtually on November 11, but you can watch the playback if you miss it. It's definitely great to show up live because you have a chance to ask me all the questions. This class will be focused on shorter s**g, but the general shape and principles are the same. I feel like the shorter s**g is more challenging because the hair can get bulky so I'm really going to focus on weight removal. Also face framing, the right bang length, crown layers, and using your razor to carve rather than shred the hair. Your finished product will be gorgeous! Tix on sale on my website tomorrow!
