علاج لحالة عضة مفتوحة شديدة بدون جراحة وباستخدام أجهزة التقويم الحديثة في مركز عطوان لتقويم الأسنان. تمّ العلاج خلال سنتين، مع تعويض الفراغ الناجم عن فقدان الضرس العلوي عن طريق تقديم الأضراس الخلفية إلى الأمام. كما تمّت إعادة تأهيل اللسان لعلاج الدفع اللساني للأسنان.

Severe anterior open bite treated without surgery! Our patient had a 9 mm open bite with tongue thrusting on a class II skeletal base, and a missing upper left first molar. Orthodontic treatment was done in 2 years using Damon ultima braces. The missing first molar was replaced by mesialization of the second and third molars. Rehabilitation of the tongue thrusting was done to prevent relapse.

حالة تم علاجها في مركز عطوان لتقويم الأسنان و الفكين بسبب وجود عضة عميقة مع تراكم وميلان الأسنان العلوية للخلف. العلاج زاد من جمالية الإبتسامة والوجه، وأدّى إلى تغيير كبير وملحوظ على صحة الأنسجة المحيطة بالأسنان، حيث تم حل مشكلة انحسار اللثة والآلام الناتجة عن الإطباق المؤذي للقواطع الأمامية على اللثة.

Transformation of a severe traumatic deep bite! This case of class II div 2 malocclusion was not only affecting the patient’s smile, but also causing gingival recession and periodontal pain. Using Damon Ultima passive self-ligation braces, and in just 2 years, we transformed the smile, facial aesthetics, and reversed the periodontal trauma 🙌
