CAMTC #77455 The intricate lymphatic system is most known for its role in fluid balance and immunity.
When functioning optimally, the lymphatic system filters pathogens, alerts your immune cells to respond to infection, maintains blood volume, concentrates your water intake and returns it to the vascular system, transports proteins, and removes large molecular waste. Many external and internal factors can alter the effectiveness of our lymphatic system including damage to lymph vessels and nodes (

Left heart 7 is one of our favorite acupressure spots for horses. It shows up a lot. Personalized acupressure is included with your equine lymphatic treatment thanks to the generosity of as we work together on “The Horse Project”. She brings her skills in neoclassical acupuncture and bio geometry to level up the bodywork sessions. If you’d like to work with her directly her website is www.qipapers.com

Here’s my thoughts behind this frog pump technique. We barely have info on the human lymph system and we know the horse lymph system is mostly the same but with some distinct differences. We know the hoof is very vascular and everywhere else in the body where the vascular system is so is the lymph system. So, why would the hoof be any different? We also know that the equine lymph system has more elasticity and also relies more on movement and muscle pumps than the human lymph system. We also know horses naturally walk miles per day and before we trimmed frogs and put on shoes, their frogs pressed against the ground with every step. We are constantly learning and trying to understand the equine lymph system better and how to support it but unfortunately there is not a lot of data out there so we go we go with our best guesses and see what kind of results we get! The frog pumps have been getting good results so we keep doing them and keep appreciating those who dedicate their study to the hoof!
