These lips had some residual pigment from the previous lip blush work. Showing through some of the hyperpigmentation.

Neutralization was done and fresh colour was added in. In the photo, the client is wearing clear gloss only. So natural and healthy looking 💗

Beautiful Water Color effect on this gorgeous client 💕 If you want a lipstick effect, the pigment needs to be applied tighter. As you can see, immediately after the treatment, the lips are a bit swollen but just takes a few hours till it gets back to normal.

To cover the hyperpigmentation (around the border), i had to apply extra layer to neutralize the darkness first, then used our target color all over the lips to create this beautiful soft pink.  What do you think?😍

          

Let's talk about DEPTH. One of the most important things all PMU artists should know.

And I want to share this knowledge with you who are considering getting PMU done. When Microblading or powderbrows are performed, your skin behaves like a filter. The amount of pheomelanin (red and yellow pigment in your skin) affects the appearance of the pigment color shown through the skin. If you go too deep, the colour of microbladed strokes will appear in colder tone (blue or grey) over time. If you go too shallow, the colour will appear orange-ish and the work will not last long as your epidermis layer regenerates every 28 days or so. We got to implant the pigment EXACTLY on the top surface of dermis layer, THAT'S the sweet spot💯

The bottom part of your brow grows upwards, and some of the top part grows downwards. Where they meet is a "Connection line". Everyone's connection line is different and it is essential for us Microblading technicians to identify where it is for each client to create the most natural look🙂💯💘
