When I first opened the Huda Beauty Pretty Grunge Palette, I’ll be honest. It felt like stepping into a mood board of attitude, edge, and elegance all at once.

The color story is bold but beautifully balanced. You get soft greys, dusty mauves, intense blacks, metallic silvers, and the kind of shimmer shades that look like crushed diamonds under the light. It’s not just a grunge palette. It’s wearable rebellion made classy.

I’ve been using it for everything from subtle smokey liners to full glam, and the blendability is exactly what you’d expect from Huda. Smooth, rich, and no patchiness even with the deeper shades. That’s rare for greys and blacks, by the way.

My favorite combo so far is a soft matte base with “Smeared” in the crease, “Scar Tissue” on the lid, and a pop of “Distortion” on the inner corner. Grungy, but still very bridal if you know how to place it right.

This palette isn’t for everyone. But if you love making a statement with your eyes, or you’re ready to move beyond warm browns and golds, you’ll fall in love like I did.

Would I recommend it for pros and clients? Absolutely.
Would I travel with it? Yes, because it covers neutral to dramatic effortlessly.
