Finally, I got to see one of the big final reveal effects from the film The Girl with the Needle, which I worked on so much last year.
Feeling so happy right now!!
The digital team under Peter Hjort did an amazing job of making it look fantastic!
The film has been getting so much love globally (Golden Globe, Oscars and Bafta nominations) and I have been waiting forever to see how it all came together!
I did a full silicone makeup on the awesome actor and then it was digitally composited with a puppet I made that showed the insides of his damaged mouth.
And I had the scary pleasure of trying to copy his movements and performance on stage for the filming of the puppet directly after the shoots.
I also did a lot of other fun effects for this film but since nothing of those has been publicly released I can't show any of that yet...

Well..... What can I say? All the work I do is not typical everyday film effects stuff.
These are medical training models for teaching medical staff to put catheters in.
Delivery tomorrow and my kids will be soooo happy to get them out of the house. "This is too weird!"

I can't wait to see this one! But since it is doing really well on the festival trail they are waiting with the full release...
