🐰Not Just Uterine Adenocarcinoma-Neoplastic and Non-Neoplastic Masses in Domestic Pet Rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus): A Review
This review analyzed 1,238 biopsy samples of neoplastic and non-neoplastic masses collected from pet rabbits between 2008 and 2019, highlighting the diversity of tumors encountered in modern rabbit practice. The study emphasizes that uterine adenocarcinoma, although common, is far from the only important neoplastic condition in rabbits.

💧Why is maintaining the correct water temperature important for axolotls?
🔹 Supports normal metabolism and immune function. Temperatures above the recommended range can cause stress, suppress the immune system, and increase susceptibility to disease.
🔹 Prevents heat stress. Axolotls are cold-water amphibians; prolonged exposure to warm water may lead to lethargy, loss of appetite, and, in severe cases, death.
🔹 Maintains proper oxygen levels. Cooler water contains more dissolved oxygen, which is essential for healthy respiration and overall well-being.
Ideal water temperature for axolotls: 15–19°C.

🦫Coccidia are common parasites of the rodents and the species of rodent does not matter.
Our patient is a beaver, 1 month old, with symptoms of a visual increase in the abdomen, due to gas accumulation in the GIT.
Coccidia was detected in the f***s, which was not an easy task, as beavers p**p in water), getting a deep flush from the re**um helped to succeed in this situation.
✅ The treatment included sulfadimethoxine orally. An alternative effective treatment protocol include Toltrazuril or Amprolium.

🐰The Continental Giant Rabbit is one of the largest rabbit breeds in the world.
Adult rabbits typically weigh 6–10 kg (13–22 lb), although some individuals can exceed 12 kg (26 lb).
They have a calm, friendly temperament and are often kept as pets despite their impressive size.
Their average lifespan is 5–8 years, but with excellent care they may live up to 10 years.
Continental Giants require a large living space, a high-fiber diet (mainly hay), regular exercise, and plenty of fresh water to stay healthy.
