BÄJBI supporting local KRAV-Certified Farmers!
One of Bäjbi’s most important tasks is to offer our little ones the very best while at the same time ensuring that the company’s overriding philosophy is one of long-term sustainability for people, animals and nature.

Therefore, one of our guiding principles is Supporting Local Farmers, meaning that we prioritize, promote and support locally produced, organic farming.

We do this in a number of ways and below you will find details of just one of these.

One of our main ingredients is rapeseed oil. When our wholesalers were unable to supply a Swedish organic alternative we took matters into our own hands, contacting KRAV certified organic farmers throughout Sweden in order to source our own supply of raw materials.

We are so proud that all of the rapeseed oil in our skincare products comes from .

The farm has been cultivated by the same family since the mid-19th Century. Until 1999, when the family purchased the freehold, the farm was owned by the local district. Today the land is farmed by Gunilla and Thomas Gunnarsson along with their children Lina, Julia, Edvin, Ludvig and Hilding. Thomas’ parents also live on the farm.

It was Thomas’ father Per-Gunnar who first embarked on the ecological trail in the early 1970s and he is considered a pioneer in the field.

Their organic rapeseed oil is manufactured from KRAV certified rapeseed cultivated without chemical fertilisers or insecticides. The crop is fertilised using a limited amount of natural cow dung, ensuring that the rapeseed receives a natural balance of nutrition. As many surveys have shown, this gives plants that contain a natural all-round mix of nutrients, vitamins and minerals – a prerequisite for good health.
