Sometimes it’s worth going back to where it all started🤍

As more people discover Skinome for the first time, we wanted to re-share the story behind why Johanna founded the brand in the first place and the problem she couldn’t stop thinking about: Why is skincare developed to survive long shelf lives, warm warehouses and bathroom shelves, instead of being developed entirely for the skin itself?

That question still guides everything we do today. From freshly made formulations and fridge storage, to avoiding unnecessary additives and protecting sensitive active ingredients until the moment you apply them.

So if you’re new here, this is the beginning of the story. And if you’ve followed us for years, a reminder of what Skinome has always stood for.
