Macrophage ni kira macam “cleaner” dan “tukang baiki” semula jadi dalam otak kita, penting gila masa otak tengah berkembang. Jom tengok macam mana dia buat kerja:

1. Potong Sambungan Tak Perlu (Synaptic Pruning)

Masa otak tengah berkembang, ada banyak sambungan antara neuron (sinaps) yang tak perlu. Macrophage, khususnya microglia (macrophage dalam otak), tolong “potong” sambungan ni supaya otak jadi lebih kemas dan cekap.

2. Bimbing Neuron Cari Jalan

Microglia keluarkan bahan tertentu yang bantu neuron bergerak ke tempat betul dan sambung dengan neuron lain. Dia macam GPS untuk neuron, taklah tersesat.

3. Jaga Kebersihan Otak

Sepanjang proses tumbesaran, ada sel mati dan sisa lain yang boleh buat otak serabut. Macrophage datang bersihkan semua tu supaya otak kekal sihat.

4. Bantu Percepatkan Isyarat Otak (Myelination)

Macrophage tolong sel lain (oligodendrocytes) untuk hasilkan myelin, iaitu lapisan pelindung pada neuron. Dengan myelin ni, isyarat otak boleh bergerak laju, macam jalan highway.

5. Pastikan Keradangan Terkawal

Keradangan ni penting masa otak berkembang, tapi kalau melampau, boleh rosakkan tisu. Macrophage pastikan keradangan cukup-cukup je, tak lebih tak kurang.

Senang cerita, macrophage ni macam tukang jaga otak masa “construction” tengah jalan. Dia pastikan semuanya berjalan lancar, bersih, dan teratur. Hebat, kan?

Yang Hidayah nak share ni, is my mother punya HbA1c level. HbA1c level ni is a form of hemoglobin that is chemically linked to sugar.

Okay if you see dekat gambar kan, HbA1c test yang normal atau for non diabetic range, it's 5.7% tapi different age range is different percentage tau! For my mum, who is above 60, it should be 6.5%.

For a start, Hidayah recommend Ibu makan SHIRUTO for her overall health. Untuk buang cell² yang abnormal and generate new ones. It's good for everyone tau! My kids pun makan. Haha.
