Bridging Science & Scalp Care: Hosting Takara Belmont’s R&D Team at ToliV 🌿✨
Living on our sunny island, we all know the daily struggle: relentless heat, midday humidity, and that perpetual cycle of oily roots, sensitive scalps, and limp hair. Standard, one-size-fits-all hair care rarely holds up against Singapore’s tropical climate.

That is why we were honored to welcome the Takara Belmont R&D team straight to our salon! 
Our goal? To share raw, honest insights from the ground—giving voice to the real scalp needs and daily frustrations of our local clients. Through live scalp diagnostics and in-depth discussions, we explored what local scalps truly crave: deep purification that doesn’t strip moisture, lasting balance, and featherlight comfort that can withstand our hot and humid weather all day long.

We hope these shared observations inspire formulations and care rituals developed specifically with our tropical climate in mind.

Of course, no gathering at ToliV is complete without a touch of local warmth. To fuel our morning session, we specially curated a traditional Nyonya-style breakfast spread—complete with classic handmade kueh-kueh, fragrant bites, and warm tea to give our guests an authentic taste of our heritage.
