Tired eyes...my poor tired eyes...
Why are you so tired?
Do you know about "computer vision syndrome" or "digital eye strain"?
This happens when our eyes are exposed to long periods of staring at the computer, smartphone or game console!
Our eyes may have to work harder trying to read smaller words and we also blink lesser than we should when we are looking at our smartphones!
Eye Strain Symptoms -
Sore or irritated eyes
Trouble focusing
Dry or watery eyes
Blurred or double vision
Increased sensitivity to light
Pain in the neck, shoulders, or back
Take good care of your eyes because you will need them as long as you live!
Here are some tips -
- use a glare filter for your screen
- every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds
- Apply a washcloth soaked in warm water to tired, dry eyes (keep your eyes closed).
- Drink Ningxia Red Juice daily (add one or two drops of Frankincense eo!)
