The coming few weeks are going to be tough.
We are facing a shortage of manpower.

To do some good for our clients in the process, we decided to revamp (& clean up) the look of our shop and run the business on limited hours while doing so. For now, we will be open three days a week (Wed, Thurs and Sat) from 9:30am till 4pm for now. Last cut will be at 3:30pm.

Keeping our fingers crossed and hoping all will go well. :'(

I'm going to start complaining.

I rarely rant. In fact, this would be my first, so please pardon my language at times. It might get a tad overboard.

Unfortunately I had a rather unsatisfactory experience with your corporate sales team.

I applied for internet access for my small family run business, .

These is the timeline of events:
5 Sep
- Contacted by Starcomm (a company that you appointed for such issues)
- Chatted with Elbby and she sent brochures and forms. She said she will get back to me after lunch. No calls made till next day. Never mind.

6 Sep
- Necessary admin and documentation done. I scanned a copy. She said it was blurred. I know it's ok and still legible. I didn't want to do it again because I was really busy. So she said ok and will use this copy.

7 to 8 Sep
Nothing, no update. Nothing. Zilch.
Not even to tell me the process is approved. Just like how till today, no update is given.

9 Sep
She needs a letter of authorisation.
Because I do not have a company stamp/ chop.
Sole proprietorship and this is required? Never mind. Tell her I don't need and have a use for that.
She repeats that a LOA is needed. Told her to do it and send to me.
The LOA was sent via email. All details including my business ADDRESS was correct.
I signed it and passed it to her on the same day. I just asked. What's the usual waiting time and this was her response, "When proceed the router and fibre broadband have contractor will contact you".

Then comes the greatest sham in the history of mankind as I know it.

No update. No confirmation. No calls.
In short, my business was passed on to another lousy accounts manager who always called me boss and told me to submit the rescanned document again. I admit he was pretty ok but the whole process of waiting got me irritated PLUS he screwed up too.

1. I correctly submitted my business registration with address clearly stated.

2. The LOA that Elbby sent also clearly stated my business address.

3. The original agreement has the proper address. I resubmitted it due to it being "not clear".

There was no mention whatsoever that the delay was because of "wrong submission of address".

I will send you snapshots of the "wrong submission of address" as proof.
