Both are minimally invasive. Both address laxity. But they work on different structures, and the right choice depends on what is actually causing the sagging in your face.

A ligament lift uses filler placed deep, just above the bone, to restore support at the ligament itself. A thread lift addresses loss of support in the fat compartment beneath the skin, repositioning tissue mechanically. Some patients need one. Some need both.
