Honoured to deliver a keynote lecture at the 4th SAARC Sleep Workshop – Breathing and Beauty.

I will be talking about the interplay between functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty — an area that lies at the intersection of nasal breathing, sleep quality, facial balance and beauty.

The nose is central not only to appearance, but also to airflow and overall well-being. In modern rhinoplasty, aesthetic refinement and functional improvement must go hand in hand.

I look forward to sharing insights and exchanging ideas with colleagues from across the region.

I am deeply honoured and humbled to have been conferred the rank of Chevalier in the Ordre National du Mérite de la République de Guinée — Knight, National Order of Merit of the Republic of Guinea — by His Excellency General Mamadi Doumbouya, President of the Republic of Guinea, in May 2026.

This recognition, awarded for services to the Republic of Guinea, is a privilege that I receive with sincere gratitude.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to His Excellency the President, the First Lady, the Government of Guinea, and all colleagues and friends who have supported this work.

This honour is also a reminder of the importance of international collaboration, service, and the shared commitment to strengthening healthcare systems for the benefit of people and communities.
