Recently, we stepped behind the scenes to see firsthand how our products are made, gaining a closer look at the technology, processes, and people behind every product. Led by our Deputy CEO, Mr Huang Ban Chin, alongside Mr Eddie Lai, General Manager of BWLIM, and his team, the tour brought our innovation journey to life through the technology and automation shaping the future of manufacturing.

For the third consecutive year, BWL Taiwan has partnered with RE-THINK to protect our coastlines and take meaningful action for our oceans. While one of this year’s beach clean-ups had to be postponed due to a typhoon, our commitment to environmental action remained strong. We are grateful to every volunteer who showed up and played a part in making a difference.

This year’s 🌊clean-up activities took place at:
📍 29 August | Da’anBeach, Taichung
📍 13 June | DajueRiver North Bank, Taoyuan

Across both locations, 284 volunteers came together to remove more than 1.5 tonnesof marine litterfrom the coastlines. Beautiful beaches can hide more waste than meets the eye. From small items like plastic bottle caps and straws to larger discarded items and surprisingly, even a refrigerator — the clean-up revealed just how much waste can accumulate along our coastlines.

It is a powerful reminder of the importance of continued environmental awareness and responsible waste management. Every piece of litter removed is a step towards cleaner shores and healthier oceans.

Every action reflects our shared responsibility to protect the environment. Together with RE-THINK, our members and volunteers, we will continue to turn collective action into lasting environmental impact. 🌏💚

What made you take yours?

At Best World, we believe that being a responsible business goes beyond what we do for our customers. We are honoured to partner with Singapore Children's Society, the organiser of Walk for Our Children 2026, held in partnership with RBC Race for the Kids. Held on 23 August 2026 at Sentosa Palawan Green, the event brought the community together in support of children, youth and families, raising awareness and funds for Children's Society's programmes and services. This year’s theme, “Creating Spaces for Every Voice to be Heard”, also reminds us of the importance of listening to young people and creating environments where they feel valued and supported.

As part of our CSR efforts, we were pleased to make an in-kind contribution of Avance DHA Gold and Avance Collagen Plus for participants’ goodie bags. We believe that meaningful change is built through acts of care and collective effort. CSR is not only about making a contribution. It is about showing up, taking responsibility and playing our part in supporting the communities around us.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of an initiative that raises awareness, rallies support and strengthens care for those who need it. Through our continued community initiatives, we hope to contribute to a culture where care extends beyond ourselves and creates a positive impact in society.

We are delighted to share two exciting pieces of news about Dr Doreen Tan BBM, Co-Founder, Co-Chairman, Global President of Best World International Limited.

Dr Doreen has been awarded the BBM (Bintang Bakti Masyarakat; Public Service Star) in the 2026 National Day Awards, a prestigious honour that recognises outstanding contributions and dedicated service to the community.

In addition, Dr Doreen has been re-elected as President of Health Supplements Industry Association of Singapore (HSIAS) for the 2026–2028 term, reflecting the continued trust and confidence placed in leadership and commitment to advancing the association‘s mission.

On 20 August 2026, we were honoured to welcome Mr. Ryan Brown, CEO & Company Secretary of The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation (The RCH Foundation), to Singapore for a visit to BWL’s Skincare Manufacturing facility in Singapore.

Mr. Huang Ban Chin, Deputy CEO of Best World International, together with Mr. Kurt Wee, Founder & CEO of Celligenics, welcomed Ryan for an exchange on CSR, innovation, collaboration and opportunities to drive positive social impact through purposeful community initiatives.
Building on our contribution to The RCH Foundation and our BWL Australia team’s tour of The Royal Children’s Hospital, Ryan’s recent visit to BWL Innovation & Manufacturing marks another step in strengthening our relationship with The RCH Foundation and reflects our continued commitment to giving back to the communities where we operate. Through BWL Australia, we look forward to building on this partnership and exploring meaningful ways to support paediatric healthcare and the well-being of children, while contributing to initiatives that help improve care and create brighter futures for young patients and their families.
The visit further strengthens our shared commitment to supporting children, families and the wider community. We look forward to deepening our CSR efforts in Australia and creating a lasting positive impact.
