April was amazing! Aside from hosting our Taipei makeup seminar, I had the absolute pleasure of providing hair and makeup services for a photoshoot with some top-tier Taipei yoga teachers 🧘.

I had so much fun with this job. Seeing the teachers so focused on set, ensuring every pose was flawless, was incredibly inspiring. The whole crew could really feel their love and dedication for what they do.

4月份除了在台北举办彩妆讲座，还有幸参与了台北知名瑜伽老师🧘的拍摄，为她们提供妆发服务。

好喜欢这次的工作，在现场看着老师们认真摆动作，确定每个姿势都到位，我们在一旁的工作人员都感受到了老师们对自己工作的热爱和坚持。

在台北举办彩妆讲座绝对是我人生的里程碑。

原本预定去年2025年10月份举办这场讲座，但是我发生了意外，脚骨折休息了好几个月。终于在半年后，在Elsa和她的团队协助下，完成了这一场充满意义的彩妆教学。

Elsa一直都致力于帮助有痘痘肌的朋友，让他们学会好好保养的同时也学会如何上好底妆，让他们更有自信，也更爱自己。她询问过其他彩妆师，但是他们工作上遇到的模特多数都是皮肤很好，不需要特别处理。而我自己本身就是酒糟肌 + 痘痘肌 + 敏感肌， 我完全理解皮肤有状况的感受。当然除了彩妆师的身份，我也是ElsaGusa的保养咨询师，应该没有人比我更适合做这个彩妆讲座的讲师了吧！

开始教学之前，同学们分享自己的皮肤问题，也分享了一些保养皮肤的技巧，比如说好好休息不熬夜、少吃辣和炸的食物、离开充满尘埃的工作环境、避开敏感源食物（牛奶、花生等等）、懂得减少压力让自己开心。最后这一点真的很重要，让自己开心就是最好的保养。

当我在教学时，看着同学们一双双求知若渴的眼睛，我知道我要100%努力把知识都传达出去。示范结束后，看着那一张张写满笔记的纸，我好感动。同学们也勇于发问🙋‍♀️， 还互相帮忙，现场气氛热闹又温馨。

A Milestone in My Career: Makeup Seminar in Taipei

Hosting a makeup seminar in Taipei stands as a true milestone in my professional journey.

The seminar was originally scheduled for October 2025, but due to an unfortunate accident that left me with a fractured foot, I had to postpone the event and spend several months in recovery. Half a year later, with the invaluable support of Elsa and her dedicated team, I was finally able to bring this meaningful seminar to life.

Elsa has long been committed to supporting individuals with acne-prone skin—teaching them not only how to care for their complexion but also how to achieve a flawless base makeup that enhances confidence and self-love. While many makeup artists primarily work with models who have naturally clear skin, my own experience with rosacea, acne, and sensitivity allows me to deeply understand the challenges faced by those with problematic skin. In addition to being a makeup artist, I also serve as a skincare consultant for ElsaGusa, making me uniquely suited to lead this seminar.

Before the teaching began, participants shared their personal skin concerns and exchanged valuable skincare practices: maintaining proper rest, avoiding late nights, reducing spicy and fried foods, steering clear of dusty environments, identifying and avoiding dietary triggers such as milk or peanuts, and most importantly, managing stress to stay joyful. Indeed, happiness itself is one of the best forms of skincare.

During the seminar, as I looked into the eager eyes of the participants, I felt a strong responsibility to deliver my knowledge wholeheartedly. Witnessing their notebooks filled with detailed notes after the demonstration moved me deeply. The students asked thoughtful questions, supported one another, and created an atmosphere that was both lively and heartwarming.

I am profoundly grateful to the ElsaGusa team for their assistance, to the participants for their trust, and to my husband for his loving support in caring for our child.

Each visit to Taiwan feels like returning home, filled with warmth and belonging. I look forward with great anticipation to the second, third, and many more makeup seminars to come.
