Tanned with pure vegetable extracts, oils, and fats using my signature process, this horsehide is dense, heavy, and durable — yet soft, flexible, and beautifully rich in character.

Traces of the shell remain on the back, giving each hide its natural charm. The finish is light and natural — deep gloss without plasticity.

A little time travel through leather.

This is our caramel-toned horsehide Vacchetta – slightly aged, oiled with old-school fats, and tanned using real vegetable extracts. No tricks, no stretching — just natural shine that turns into patina over time.

Soft but not floppy, dense but never stiff.
Made the way leather used to be made.

What word do you think best describes a tannery? To me, it’s «circle». Circular motion is at the core of almost every stage of leather production—drums rotate, solutions circulate, processes repeat. And beyond that, our work is deeply connected to the circle of life.

Sometimes, you have to fix issues on the spot without emptying the drum, which means stepping into a drum full of leather, water, and tannins. This photo was taken on one of those days when everything went wrong. But it was worth it.

Here’s an interesting fact: it’s around zero outside, 9–10 degrees indoors, but by morning, the temperature in the drum naturally shoots up to 30. In summer, that’s a real headache…
